Jirka (Petr Stehlik), an aspiring MMA fighter picks up his son Radek (Tomas Jelsik) for a weekend of father-son activities, but when the weather ruins their plan, Jirka decides to show Radek his prowess in the cage in a though match, that Radek is less than enthused about.
Coming from Estonia, Priit Põhjala channelled his interest in films into actually making them in high school with the help of the film club in the local youth center. After high school his film making activities stopped for several years while studying philosophy at the University of Tartu, with secondary studies in Ecology. He graduated with a bachelors degree in philosophy in 2009, and a masters degree in 2012. In the middle of his university studies, he took up making short films again, first at the local youth center, later independently. During these years several films were made which were shown in festivals all over Estonia with a few wins and several other prizes. In 2011 he was selected as the director for Tartu County for the feature film collaboration “Täitsa Lõpp”, an Estonian wide project where a feature film was made between non-professionals. After finishing his studies in philosophy, and on the success the short films in festivals, he applied to FAMU international directing program, in which he has written and directed several short films in addition to writing his first feature script.
