Yeses

Yeses portrays the life of a theater company formed by women in prison. Thirty years ago, in Madrid women's prison known as “Yeserías”, a prison officer called Elena Cánovas was encouraged to bring the theater to prison, creating a company with the inmates. “Teatro Yeses" was born.

Spain In 1989 he began to work in the audiovisual sector: feature films, advertising films and fiction series for television. He´s currently the Production Director of the TVE series "Remember When", the most award-winning Spanish television series. He has also produced documentaries: "Niger, a silent emergency"; and "Haiti, under construction", both for UNICEF. As director he has made the web series "San Genaro´s Diary” for TVE and several promos of the series "Remember When" as well as videos for plastic artists, musicians and the group itself "TeatroYeses". In 2020 he received the Silver Award for Best Fiction Promo with “Remember When, RTVE” at the EBU CONNECT 2020 awards as author / director.
