Wilderness explores the unknown life in ten deserts around the world. This is a documentary built from impericia, from misunderstanding, from surprise and mutual amazement; It is a film that reflects on the idea of community, the relationship of man and his environment in which nature, beasts and human beings depend on each other to continue inhabiting a world that is supposed to be barren.

Director Mexican filmmaker dedicated to Production, Photography and Documentary Filmmaking. He's one of the most notorius documentary filmmakers in Latin America. Among his films are La Canción del Pulque (2003), Los Ladrones Viejos (2007), El Cielo Abierto(2011) and Cuates de Australia (2011) , screened and awarded in festivals like IDFA, Toulousse, Los Ángeles, Locarno, Miami, Montreal, Sarajevo, Rotterdam, BAFICI, Mar del Plata, Guadalajara y Morelia, amond others. He has worked in the photography department in films like Backyard (El Traspatio) by Carlos Carrera and La Jaula de Oro by Diego Quemada, nominated in Canned. He has been nominated 11 times at the Ariel awards, given by the Mexican Film Academy and he has received 8 awards. His work has been shown in more than 40 countries. He has his production and distribution company called Artegios.
