Mariam fled her country, she is pregnant, and she is looking for a safe home for his baby. This travel led them to cross the sea in a small boat that carried only women until they arrived at the border city of Melilla. Due to the hazards along the way, women prefer to keep their stories secret. Nevertheless, Mariam has decided to tell her story to her child Treasure before giving birth in Christmas.
Juan Antonio Moreno Amador has directed, among others, Boxing for Freedom, a documentary shown in more than 50 countries and selected for the European Film Awards, and the docufiction film "Caramel Words", nominated for the Goya Awards. He has also produced Walls, winner of the Goya Award for Best Documentary Short Film. His productions have received more than 80 awards and have been selected in more than 300 international festivals such as the Montreal Festival, CPH: DOX, Sheffield Doc / Fest, Cameraimage or Busan International Film Festival. In addition, he has received the Reina Sofía Social Communication Award and the Excellence Award granted by the Carlos III University of Madrid. He has studied Documentation, Screenplay, Journalism and International Relations. He teaches at the Documentary Master of the UC3M and at the Lens School. In 2010, he created the producer Making DOC. He is a member of the European Film Academy and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain.
