Way Back Home

On Easter Sunday, Plínio, a retired carpenter, waits for his family's visit, but they don't show up. Anselmo, the gardener of the home he lives in, offers him a lift home. Plinio revisits along the way his memories of the neighborhood where he was born and raised, but when he gets there, a surprise puts his memories in check.

Writer, director and producer Part of the new generation of film directors - already accustomed to floating through the different media, genres and innovative forms of film production. He has more than 10 years of audiovisual experience, producing films ranging from documentary, fictional, for TV and Internet. His last short, the award-winning thriller "Salt", has gone through major national and international film festivals with seven (7) awards. In 2017 he produced his first feature as director / screenwriter, the psychological thriller "David’s Secret” with commercial distribution in 2018. In 2019 Diego has produced the feature-film "O Novelo"(Knitting) and directed the short-film "Way Back Home" starring Lima Duarte and Guilherme Rodio.
