Viacruxis

Two legendaries mountaineers will try to climb the most difficult peak in despite of their different temperaments.

Illustrator, painter and animator I did the lustration studies at l'Escola d’Art i Disseny Massana during the years 1991-1994 in Barcelona. Between 1998 and 2006 I made numerous painting exhibitions at the Sala Parés Art Gallery, Cadaqués Gallery in Barcelona and the Octogono Gallery in Asturias. In 2007 I decided to change my paintings for a camera. In 2014 I made my first short film, “Projecte inbestigadó” which was awarded the prize for the best screenplay at the Enmut Festival in Barcelona. Later I became interested in stop motion animation and began to experiment and learn this animation technique in a self-taught way. One of my first animated short films was “Criaturitas”, which I finished in 2016 and was selected in more than 70 festivals around the world. My last short film has been "Viacruxis", which I finished in January 2018.
