Is a Spanish actress, film director, screenwriter and producer. She is known for her roles in Todo sobre mi madre (1999), Piedras (2002) and La China (2005). As a film director, the actress has made three short films: V.O., La china and A las once, to great acclaim from critics and audiences alike. Her work as a director was born from a need to broaden horizons in a field she does research on every day: theater. Her extraordinary ability for observing and splitting allow her to excel in both acting and directing
