Michael Taylor Jackson
A Californian backpacker travels to Buenos Aires to pay homage to the Argentine pirate who conquered his hometown of Monterey in 1818. Along the way, he becomes entangled in a polyamorous relationship with a gang of young actors who plot to kidnap the U.S. Ambassador.
Michael Taylor Jackson is a writer, director and a visual artist
who attended art school in Buenos Aires before moving to
New York City to complete an MFA in Film Directing in 2019.
While in school, his short film series Harlemites screened at
the Cinequest, Sarasota, and Sonoma Film Festival where
he won the Best Dramatic Short and the American Diversity
Award. In 2020, Michael directed two music videos for
Universal Music and in 2023, he wrote and directed his first
feature film, Underground Orange.
