Simone G. Saibene
A writer. A novel. And how the new reality has ended up by being stranger than fiction.
Simone G. Saibene was born in Italy in 1977. In 2003 he graduated with honors in Communication Sciences at the IULM University of Milan. From 2006 to 2010 he worked as a programmer and editor of publications at the San Fedele Foundation in Milan (Italy). Since 2009 he lives in Ourense (Spain) where, in 2012, he formed his own production and distribution company Noveolas Producciones. In his filmography there are titles such as 'Regreso a San Andrés' (2006), '9 ondas' (2013) or 'Pelerinaxes' (2016). Professor and coordinator of cycles of cinema, journalist and critic audiovisual, collaborates with various media and institutions, among others, the magazine 'Duellanti', the Instituto Cervantes in Milan, the Esap in Porto, the CGAI in A Coruña, the University of Vigo, the UNED, or Onda Cero Ourense. Since 2019, he produces and conducts the TV program 'Cinephilia' on Telemiño. In 2021, the program received the Maestro Mateo Award for Best TV Program and the CREA Award in 2022.
