The Spells

The Spells

David Gutiérrez Camps
Rob and Zoé have built their lives in the heart of nature, surviving on what they grow, preserve and trade. Their daughters, Louise and Lune, grow up surrounded by fruit trees, chickens, and waterfalls. When Louise suddenly faints, no diagnosis or explanation follows. Faced with this incomprehensible event, her parents are left helpless.  The family’s harmony begins to fracture: Zoé and Rob drift apart, while the girls appear to evolve in a territory where reality seems to break apart. As uncertainty takes hold, the natural order itself appears to unravel.
