The Pencil, the Snow and the Grass

In some villages of the Pyrenees, the one-room schoolhouses are still working as they once did. A classroom, a teacher and a handful of children of all ages who play, learn and have fun together. That's the way it is and will be, as long as the school and the people remain standing.

Méndiz has produced and directed the feature documentaries “After Otal's Track”, “Pilar Lorengar, Voice and Mistery” and “The Pencil, the Snow and the Grass”. He is also the producer of 11 fiction short films with more than 250 awards among which you can highlight the Golden Palm at the Cannes Films Festival and an Oscar Nomination for “Timecode”.
