The Night my Mother Killed my Father

Isabel (Belén Rueda) organizes a dinner at her house. Her husband, a crime writer (Eduard Fernández) and his ex-wife (María Pujalte), a filmmaker, want to persuade a famous Argentinian actor (Diego Peretti) to play the lead role in their next film. In the middle of the dinner, the hostess’ ex (Fele Martínez) shows up with his new girlfriend (Patricia Montero) who is fascinated by the actor. The dinner gets more and more complicated, until one of them is found dead and they all end up freaking out.
Inés París is a film and TV director and screenwriter. She is graduated in Philosophy, studied Dramatic Art and Stage Direction. She has written and directed, in collaboration with Daniela Fejerman, the feature films My mother likes women (2002), Semen, a love story (2005), Miguel and William (2008), The night my mother killed my father (2016) is his fourth feature film.
She has written scripts for movies and TV series. She has taught courses at Spanish and foreign universities. She was president of the CIMA association (Women Filmmakers and Audiovisual Media) and the SGAE Foundation (the first woman in history to hold this position).
In 2018 her work oriented to TV with The accident. In 2020, she repeated this format assuming executive production and script in La fence, a series directed by Daniel Écija, which presents a dystopian world facing a pandemic.
