After fifteen years without setting foot in Argentina, Rodrigo travels from Madrid to Buenos Aires in order to attend his father’s funeral, a well-known painter. Experiencing mourning with his family and managing more than two thousand artworks left in an old studio triggers a reunion that leads him to reconsider his future parenthood.
Rodrigo Demirjian is a multifaceted Argentinian artist who resides in Madrid. He was educated in Popular Music Superior Institute in Buenos Aires, and in the International Center of Photography in New York. In 2001, he won the Creation Subsidy granted by Antorchas Foundation in Buenos Aires. He has obtained two mentions in experimental video by the National Salon in Buenos Aires in 2004 and 2007. He also has been selected in Telefonica Mamba Foundation award in Buenos Aires in 2002, 2003 and 2005. The Legacy, his first documentary feature film, premiered in BAFICI and Hot Docs.
