The King of Rock and Roll its a documentary that shows the process of making a record. ¿How a record is made? ¿How do musicians write songs? ¿What is the work of those involved? Follow the artist Paul Zinnard in the making of his last album while musicians and people from music envelope such as Mike Watt or Ariel Rot explain the whole process.
Director. Iván Muñiz was born in Madrid in 1975. He made university studies of communications but soon he started to work in the audiovisual sector performing all kinds of products: spots, tv programs , making of, corporates, etc.
He considers himself as editor because he thinks editing isthe most important part of all creative process. In addition to his family, his two big passions are cinema and music, and spends the rest of his time in creating personal work. In the inability of making conventionally created pieces, he has his own production company Silver and Gold Films through wich all his work is created completely independently.
In 2007 headed in fiction with feature film Carbón Elvis. He has made several short films that have been selected in festivals as Fantastic Film Festival of Rome in 2011 participatating with Deadly Copyrights. Since he made in 2012 the documentary Rocanrol he spreads all his creativity in creating music themed documentary.
