The Circle

Daniel González
David just moved into his new apartment when he receives an unexpected visit from two neighbours. What at first seems like a mere courtesy call soon reveals itself to be something more sinister.
Daniel González Guerrero graduated from ESCAC (Film and Audiovisual School of Catalonia) in 2007 with a concentration in Screewriting. He began his TV career that same year with Sweesters: Virtual Room, a series of 3D-animated capsules he wrote and directed. This was followed by Four and a Half Friends, another animated series, this time in 2D, for which he was a writer. In later years he has participated as a writer in the fiction series Cites and, most recently, Benvinguts a la família, both produced by Arca Audiovisual and Televisió de Catalunya, as well as Sé quién eres (I Know Who You Are), by Arca Audiovisual and Mediaset España. Film-wise, he co-wrote, together with Eduard Sola and Eric Navarro, the screenplay for Barcelona, summer night and Barcelona, winter night, both produced by El Terrat, Playtime Movies and Sábado Películas. He also worked with David Serrano and Diego San José on the screenplay for the film El Pregón, produced by Atresmedia Cine and El Terrat. These three movies were directed by Dani de la Orden, here appearing in a different role in order to support and produce this short film. Daniel is currently working on the animated series I, Elvis Riboldi, for Peekaboo Animation and WatchNext Media; on the stage musical Barcelona, l'última nit, the sequel to the two previous films, to be co-directed by Dani de la Orden and Kike Maíllo; and on La mujer dormida, a horror film written together with Miguel Ibáñez.
