The Choices of Maelys

After running away from home, Maelys, 15 years old, ends up wande- ring in the streets. She meets a group of dropouts. Seduced by their ideals of freedom, she gets stuck with them. She will discover the street code, a daily routine between begging, small offences and violence.

Director, Writer, Producer, Editor. Born in 1983, with the passion for cinema since always he turned to an option audio-visual since high school. Graduated from the New-York Film Academy (NYFA) in directing and editing, he directed and took part on differents shorts presented in internationals festivals. Then he worked abroad, as camera operator and video editor on the documentary programs Destino Peru. As editor, he worked on commercials and reels. He created his own production company in South America, MaS producciones, oriented in making music TV programs. Back in France, a created a production company fulFILMent production, in order to develop personal projects as well as creating a new dynamic of young filmmakers in south-west France. He is actually developing 2 feature lengths projects. On one hand the feature version of The choices of Maelys. On the other hand, an adaptation of a true story that happened in the Amazonian jungle, titled An incredible story of survival. Also pre- paring his next short-movie.
