Visiting Ikea, an Asylum Center, Google and a Motorcycle gang, these grotesque, humoristic, poignant, political and personal works investigate Dan Geesin’s search for an audience.  
British artist Dan Geesin always measures himself against the world in his personal and humorous work. His influences are drawn from a love hate relationship with the city and the countryside and the misunderstandings in communication. He has produced many award winning, independent short films and is also the songwriter and director of sound for all films by Esther Rots. Geesin’s work has been included in many museums and film festivals including; Tate Modern, Moma New York, Dutch Central Museum, Cannes film festival, Berlin film festival, Edinburgh film festival. His short film ‘Elephant Feet’ was sold to ARTE television and shown in numerous international festivals including Clermont-Ferand, Golden Nights Paris, Rotterdam, Worldwide Shorts Toronto, Message to Man Saint Petersburg and won Best Short Film in both Netherlands Film Festival and Motovun Film Festival, Croatia. Dan Geesin studied at De Ateliers between 1994-1996 and lives in the Netherlands.
