Landscape documentary about inequality in 21st century U.S.A. as seen entirely through the lens of a dash-cam. The car drives slowly through metropolises, rural neighborhoods, and natural and urban landscapes to capture a country with one of the largest and most visual economic, industrial, and social divides in the world.
Filmmaker and Sound Designer Based in Montreal, Quebec. His work has been screened at the CPH:DOX, Festival Du Nouveau Cinéma, Escales Documentaires, Vancouver, RIDM, and CUFF film festivals. His first documentary was co-produced by the Documentary Channel in Canada and has been broadcast around the world. He obtained his M.F.A. in Studio Arts in 2018 from Concordia University. Mitchell's work in fiction and documentary uses harsh image, sound, and complex non-linear narratives to create experiential portraits of the world we live in. Mitchell is also disabled and has been living with Type 1 Diabetes since he was 16 years old.
