Some Will Forget
Ruth Grimberg
Ex-miner Les Moore cannot let go of the past. The bitter defeat of the Miners’ Strike 30 years ago hangs over his life and the bleak landscape of a village in the North of England. Beneath his feet the mine struggles on but employs only a few local men. Fearful that their struggle will be forgotten, that their voices won’t be heard, Les joins the fight to preserve the legacy of the mine and calls for the chance of a decent life for his sons in a hurt and forgotten community
