Societies violence and judgements against women are a heavy burden that Melissa must lift everyday. But when she gets on the ring, she’s the one answering back.
Spain Laura studied a Master in Creation Documentary at Pompeu Fabra University. As La Sandía Digital co founder in Mexico she has directed over 20 documentary shorts. Her feature-length debut, “El Remolino” premiered at the Locarno Film Festival, was selected in more that fifty festivals and awarded in several festivals such as DOCUMENTAMADRID (SP) or PLANETFOCUS (CA). Laura just finished her last short doc “¿Me vas a gritar?” and she is now in production stage of “La Mami” documentary.
