Juan Gautier
Mirza Delibašić, a European basketball legend of the 70s, voluntarily stayed with his people during the Bosnian War instead of escaping with his family, becoming a symbol for his country. Today, his son Danko moves between admiration for his legacy, the weight of his shadow, and the hurt of his absence. A journey to rebuild his figure as a national hero will lead Danko to discover his own place as a father.
He started working as a director assistant more than 20 years ago.
His first documentary, Sanfermines 78, was the main documentary in theatrical in 2005. In 2008 he created his own production company, Smiz and Pixel. He directed five shortfilms and two cinematographic documentaries.
His films received more than 60 international awards and they were selected in festivals like: Seminci, Documentamadrid, Malaga Film Festival, Clermont Ferrand, etc.
