In a remote town where gypsies come and go, Roberta receives a call about her husband’s sudden death. She becomes consumed with the uncertainty of her fate.
Writer/director and video installation artist. Based in Chicago. She first began filmmaking in South Korea, where she spent a part of her childhood, and eventually graduated from Northwestern University in the US with a degree in film and fine art. Her documentary short ExamiNation was a silver Telly Award winner and her thesis short film Portraiture was shown in film festivals across many countries. Her Roberta’s Living Room short script won the Story Starts Here screenplay competition at NFFTY in 2016. She creates projection mapping installations also shown internationally, including France and Finland, where she stayed as a resident artist. Periodically, she works in advertising as an editor, director or designer.
