Painting…

In the Skaramanga’s Refugee Camp Greece, a group of refugee children from Afghanistan at the age of 10-13, paint their experience and memories from the war and their journey to Europe. They describe through their drawings their city as they remember it, the city that they have found shelter in and the city that they wish to live in the future.

Ioanna Neophytou

Visual artist, filmmaker Ioanna lives and works in Athens. She graduated from Athens School of Fine Arts in 2011 and from the master of «Contemporary art and new media», at Paris 8 University, in 2015. Dimitris Stamatis

Dimitris was born in Athens in 1981. He graduated from the Department of Music Technology and Acoustics of TEI-Crete. Since then she has been working as a sound recorder, sound engineer and lighting technician in various audio-visual events, exhibitions, concerts and live music venues. "Painting..." is his first film.
