Silvia Venegas (Spain, 1982) is a director, producer and scriptwriter. Among his productions stand out “Kafana (Enough, Already!)” (2016), “Boxing for Freedom”, it has been selected at the European Film Awards 2015 for the Best European Documentary, “Prescription Art” (2015) and "The Children of Mama Wata" (2010). She has also produced “Words of Caramel” (2016), nominee Goya Award for Best Short Documentary, “Walls” (2014), Goya Award for Best Short Documentary and “Life Beyond the Battle” (2011). Her productions have been selected and awarded at festivals both nationally and worldwide. In 2010 she founded the production company Making DOC specialized in documentaries. She is member of the European Film Academy.
