Only the Pigeons Fly

Children, youth and women spend their days in a Syrian refugee camp in Lebanon. They want to go home, a look for affection, but only the pigeons fly there.

Concha Fernández is a photographer and filmmaker. She studied at the Official Institute of Spanish Radio and Television. During her travels, she generates interest in various social issues. In 2016, she joins the "slowphoto" movement and develops several projects in analog photography. In 2017 her series "Encarceladas" is selected in the Photography Seminar of Albarracín. In 2018 "Only the pigeons fly" is selected in the "Ibiltariak" section of the Santurtzi International Film Festival.
