On Trial

Marta is a young border guard, who recently arrived but has high expectations for a promotion. She is about to finish her period of practice doing speed controls in a secondary road. When Marta stops a car for speeding, what it seemed just like a penalty ticket will become a blackmailing game. Her complicated financial situation and her upcoming wedding will make her think about being true to its principles or engage in corruption. Temptation can sometimes be very dangerous.

Director, writer. Pablo is passionate about writing in all its forms. He started writing stand-up comedies and began working in projects in theatre and film. He has written a few short films: On Trial, Un hijo es cosa de dos and Tinder Sorpresa. On trial is his directorial debut.
