Luis Miñarro (Barcelona, 1949) started out his professional career in advertising to later dedicate himself wholly to film production starting in 1995 at his own company, Eddie Saeta, which upholds a firm commitment to supporting art house film. He has been a film critic for different magazines and is a cofounder of the film clubs Arts and Mirador. He has also been a jury member at numerous festivals and a lecturer at different universities and film archives. He is currently a member of the European Film Academy, the Spanish Academy of Film Arts and Sciences, and the Catalonian Association of Film Producers, among others. He has produced over 15 feature films and has directed Blow Horn (2009), Familystrip (2009), 101 (2012) and Stella Cadente (2014).
