Lone Lights

Lone Lights

Tobias Wolters
A group of five different soldiers arrive as the last reinforcement of a lost battle. They soon find themselves in a traumatizing bombardment surrounded only by death and destruction. Sleepless nights and exhaustion soon lead to insanity and they have to decide whether to continue the madness or to break free.
New Zealand Award-winning director, producer and writer Tobias Wolters has already worked on a great number of films, anything from independent short films to big-budget films such as the Hunger Games franchise. He worked producing and supervising Visual Effects for high profile music videos and commercials. After studying Film Production and Directing in Berlin and London, he wrote and directed his acclaimed short film “DISCEPTATIO” that earned him a best film award in Las Vegas and was also shown in Cannes. Tobias is obsessed with great storytelling, image composition and exploring profound and real characters. After Tobias got inspired by meeting people like Peter Jackson or Christopher Nolan, he recently left the German film industries to pursue his dream of making films in New Zealand. In his free time, he enjoys composing classical music and eventually writes soundtracks for Films and Games.
