Chica Latina is a documentary that narrates the way of life of Alba Prieto. Alba is a 32-year-old woman who, despite her particular physique, works as a stripper and cheerleader at bachelor parties . She lives in El Palo, a popular and working class neighborhood of Málaga (Spain). Her origins are humble and comes from a broken family. Her mother abandoned her when she was 12 years old and her father barely took care of her. From the age of 16, Alba had to look for her own life doing various jobs, until at 17, she created her character as Chica Latina.

Javier Gómez Bello is a Spanish filmmaker who combines his work as a musician with other arts such as poetry or video creation. It is in this last field where he has the possibility of combining the different disciplines in a single exercise, writing and producing his own documentaries, works that have been awarded in different national and international festivals.
