Young Imade (Er-Rachidia, 2002) has long since run away from home. Despite his deafness, the boy had always dreamed of a better life. Now, after years without hearing from him, his family manages to contact him through brief and very precarious video calls. Imade is looking forward to returning home to meet them again. But first, he will have to fight against the isolation in which he lives.
Director, screenwriter Ignacio Acconcia, screenwriter and director, trained documentary filmmaking at the School of Cinema and Audiovisual of Catalonia, ESCAC. He also studied a Master's Degree on Creative Documentary Filmmaking at Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona. As a scriptwriter has been selected for the MEDIA workshop 4CORNERS with a feature film script 350 Hours. As a director he has won several prizes (national and international) with fiction and also documentary shorts films. He wrote and directed a fiction Tv Serie David Mi Amigo broadcasted in spanish Tv, Antena3 Neox. In 2014, he was one of the co-directors of the film Demonstration with Victor Kossakovsky, screened in several international festivales as IDFA, DocsBarcelona, MOMA Fort-Night, True/False Festival, Hotdocs, Toronto...
