Gallo lost his sight in a fateful accident while he was surfing. He was 39 years old. Far from giving up, he went back to surfing again and in 2016 he has won the World Adaptive Surfing Championship. Gallo wants to prove that people with disabilities can take any challenge they set themselves, and he will face one of the most difficult and dangerous challenges of his life: surfing a big wave. To succeed in his adventure, Gallo will have to prepare himself both physically and men- tally, but above all else he will have to overcome the doubts and fears of having to relive the accident that left him blind.
Spain He gratuated from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid with a Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication in 1999. As soon as he completed his studies, he started working in the production company Transglobe Films, specialized in documentary cinema. He collaborated with the teams working on nature and antropology in several projects filmed around the world (Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Mali, Burkina Faso, China, United States, Mongolia, Australia...). After this enriching period both professionally and personally, he decided to make a move into the world of fiction. He has worked as First Assistant Director in cinema (14 kilómetros, La gran final, Las furias) and TV series (Mis adorables vecinos, Mesa para cinco, El corazón del Océano, El internado, B&B, GAme of Thrones, Vis a Vis). During these years, he continued with his training in direction of actors and screenwriting at ECAM, until 2009, when Globomedia offered him the opportunity to move to direction with the TV series "El internado" for 3 seasons, and later he worked in "Luna, El misterio de Calenda", both broadcsted in Antena3. Currently, he is preparing several documentary and fiction projects and is part of the direction team of the series Vis a Vis.
