Madrid, 1960. Carlos, Franco's film screenwriter, read in a magazine that "In ten years, cars will fly" so, he decides to make the first science fiction film in the history of Spanish cinema.
Director Borja Echavarría Lamata has a degree in Humanities (specialization in Communication Studies) from the University of Navarra and Diploma in Film and Television Production from the TAI Higher School of Arts and Entertainment. In addition to making different advertising spots, Borja Echeverría, directed the series for Antena 3 Television Ell@s (2009), and the series Bakú and Showbusiness (from Errol Films and Pop Producciones-in distribution-), as well as being the director and screenwriting on the short films Confundidos (2005), Digan lo que digan (2004), Las diabólicas aventuras de los cinco (2004), En Paz (2002), Cinco minutos (2001), Salva el Mundo!! (2010) and Visión de Futuro, starring Fele Martínez. He is due to release his first feature-length film, Qué Pelo Más Guay” (selected for the International Festival of Sitges, among others). He won the "Simón” Award for best film from Aragon (2013) and the Audience Award at the FIM- Sueca (2014). He has also directed numerous music videos and other music events (nominated for a Latin Grammy for "15" by Ara Malikian, for Best Long Video), and has made pieces for Lucas Masciano, Ara Malikian, Loquillo and Raphael, among others. With Guzmán de Yarza, he also made the documentary Eternal Sunrise (2009) and the documentary El día que el Zaragoza fuimos todos (2015). Some of his most notable new feature film projects include El día que Keith Richards se cayó de un cocotero, co-written with David Desola, Memorias de una sombra, co-written with Santiago Tabernero, TIP, co-written with Luis Sánchez Polack and Triana written by himself.
