During a therapy session, conducted by the prestigious psychiatrist Patrice Allen, the mentally unstable patient Kenneth reveals that he killed his own father when he was a teenager, to protect her mother and himself from his abuses. Soon Dr. Allen finds out that Kenneth is emotionally connected to her neglected daughter, who’s dealing with severe drug issues, and he blames her for everything.
Director, Screenwriter Javier Dampierre (1977) is a director, screenwriter and editor in film, television and comercials. He has stood out in the short film field with titles like “7 Days”, awarded at two International Film Festivals, the dark comedy “Crocodile Nile” (El Cocodrilo Nilo), with more than 80 official selections all over the globe, including being Candidate for the 2011 Spanish Academy Awards, the short documentary “The Dance of the Infants”, awarded at the Oscar qualifying Rhode Island International Film Festival, and the psychological thriller “Fifty”, with 16 international awards in its first 4 months of distribution. He has directed the feature documentary “Lo imposible de lo imposible”, about the movie “The Impossible”, by J.A. Bayona, starring Ewan McGregor and Naomy Watts. The documentary captured a share audience of 39,2% in Telecinco, the biggest tv channel in Spain. He’s optioned his feature screenplay “The Silence of Marcos Tremmer”, which will be produced next year, a coproduction between Spain, Dominican Republic and Argentina. During his 4 years based in Los Angeles, he's edited trailers, live action feature films, and documentaries for NBC, FOX, Amazon, ESPN and Netflix, such as "The People's Fighters", produced by Mandalay Sports Media and Frank Marshall, the live action feature "Prescience", starring Linda Gray and Eric Roberts and distributed by Indican Pictures and Lionsgate, and doc TV series “40 Days: Canelo VS Kovalev”, for DANZ and NBC, and “The Harder Way”, for ESPN, both produced by Uninterrupted and LeBron James.
