Having earned a scholarship to study in California next year, the 22-year-old Dani is
aching to confess his love to his best friend’s girlfriend. After the inevitable farewell
party, a stroll through the park ends up being his last chance to do so. Now or
never. Those 15 minutes fill up with lulls, looks, recollections, meaningless
answers, but… the truth? Is a quarter hour enough time to make it to the truth?
Debuts in the direction with Bon appétit, after having written and directed the short
film Dolly, also produced by Morena Films.
Until then, David has accumulated extensive experience as an editor, a task that
continues to exert. Precisely the direction of Bon appétit has earned him to win the
Goya Award in the category of Best New Director on 13/02/2011, at the 25th edition
of the awards.

Arévalo, which earned him a nomination for the Goya for Best Editing in the latest
edition of the Academy Awards, La vergüenza by David Planell, Sexykiller by Miguel
