Guided by idealism and family tradition, Laura joins a squad of riot police, in her first outings she already notices her taste for adrenaline; but a big mistake exposes the corruption atmosphere of the institution, putting at risk her services and her ideals.

Nina first studied screenwriting at the Filmakademie Ludwigsburg in Baden-Württemberg and then directing at the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin (DFFB). Nina's directorial debut DETOUR, a psychological thriller commissioned by ZDF Kleines Fernsehspiel premiered at Filmfest München in 2017 and was nominated for the FIRST STEPS AWARD 2017 in the category "Feature Films". Her first feature film as a screenwriter of NIMMERMEER won the Student Oscar in 2007 and her short film PURPLE SUNRISE, a pilot project of the DFFB, was selected and supervised by cinematographer Michael Ballhaus.In 2017, she worked with Toke Hebbeln on the cinema comedy TAKE THIS, commissioned by Pantaleon AG. In April 2018, she won the First Steps Masterclass "Writing for the Big Audience" with the project "ALLEIN MIT HOTTE", script development commissioned by UFA Fiction, producer: Christian Rohde. She was also a young director in the ZDF's directing support programme and a Markel foundation scholarship holder in the Robert Bosch Foundation scholarship programme.
