Aleixo Paz A.K.A. "Boy from the Blaze" is the survivor of a tragic accident that destroyed his life and that of his family. About to turn 18, without a job or an education, he spends his days in the darkness of his room. Consumed by pain and anger, his only hope is writing songs for an imaginary crowd. Inspired by a friend and encouraged by his mother, he will find the strength to go on stage and overcome his fears.
Director, screenwriter Ignacio Acconcia, screenwriter and director, trained documentary filmmaking at the School of Cinema and Audiovisual of Catalonia, ESCAC. He also studied a Master's Degree on Creative Documentary Filmmaking at Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona. As a scriptwriter has been selected for the MEDIA workshop 4CORNERS with a feature film script 350 Hours. As a director he has won several prizes (national and international) with fiction and also documentary shorts films. He wrote and directed a fiction Tv Serie David Mi Amigo broadcasted in spanish Tv, Antena3 Neox. In 2014, he was one of the co-directors of the film Demonstration with Victor Kossakovsky, screened in several international festivales as IDFA, DocsBarcelona, MOMA Fort-Night, True/False Festival, Hotdocs, Toronto...
