He graduated from the University of Buenos Aires as a sound and image designer. He worked as an editor and then later as a director on advertising spots. In the last three years, Lucas Figueroa has won over 450 international awards at film festivals for his Trilogía de muerte (“Death Trilogy”), a series of three fiction short films. In 2011 he received the Guinness Record for directing and producing the most award-winning short film ever made, Porque hay cosas que nunca se olvidan, which earned him over 300 awards alone. In 2012 he shot his first feature length film Viral with his own production company LMF Films.
