A couple from Burgos, Alfredo and Teresa, travel to New York where they intented to switch off and do all the things listed in the guidebook. But the moment they land they start to notice sings, some subtle and others rather less so, that in fact they’re not in the city sold to them by the travel agency. So where are they?  
Juan Cavestany has written and directed, among others, the feature films Gente de mala calidad (2008), with which he competed at the Málaga Festival, Dispongo de Barcos (2010), El señor (2012), Gente en sitios (2013) San Jordi award for Best Spanish Film, Esa sensación (2016) y Madrid, Int. (2020), the first Spanish film on the Covid-19 lockdown. In 2017 he codirected with Álvaro Fernández-Armero the series Vergüenza, presented in Zabaltegui-Tabakalera at San Sebastian Festival. He has also written screenplays for films including Washington Wolves (Mariano Barroso 1999) and Warriors (Daniel Calparsoro, 2002). In 2008 he won the Max for Best Theatre Authorin Spanish for Urtain. He is currently preparing the series Sentimos las molestias, of which he is the creator and director together with Álvaro Fernádez-Armero, for Movistar+.
