A Skeleton in the Closet

Last time Manuel saw his family he came out, and since then their relationship became tense. Manuel goes back to his hometown for his parent’s wedding anniversary, but he actually wants to ask money to move to Denmark with his boyfriend, who ends up dumping him, leading to an existential crisis. This trip then becomes an opportunity to rebond with his parents, discover a secret everyone’s hiding from his brother, and find out what he wants for his future.

Nicolás Teté was born on November 23, 1989. He’s a film director major (Universidad del Cine-FUC). He is the producer, director and writer of the fiction movies Last Family Holidays (2013) and Onyx (2016). He co-directed the documentary Shineless (2018). With these films he took part in festivals like BAFICI, Mar del Plata, Punta del Este, San Diego Latino, San Pablo Latino, among others. He is also a writer and he published of the book of short stories `Nada nos puede pasar'.
