A Million Friends

A Million Friends

Fernando Merinero

Javier Jurdao needs to get a life. Is he just lazy, anti-establishment, a philosopher, a visionary? Actually, he's experimenting to see what happens if he makes absolutely no effort whatsoever to find work or make money. He wants to put fun before everything and have a million friends. His father is also experimenting. He's become a self-proclaimed anthropologist and has women of all races parading around the house, Moroccans and Chinese and Romanians, his inspiration for his autobiography in progress, "Female Checkerboard."

Director, Screenwritter, Producer, Actor. Fernando Merinero began his film career in the early eighties as an autodidact film maker, shooting shorts films with a Super 8 camera.
