Miguel A. Furnier has a diploma in film directing from the Madrid Film Institute. For 10 years he has been combining his vocation as a fiction filmmaker with his profession as a video editor for companies such as Sony Pictures, Universal or Disney, among others. In 2009, he premiered the short film Defocused, awarded and recognized at various international festivals, such as the Villareal International Festival or the IX International Festival of Sexual Themes (Argentina). Currently, he has just released “Bella”, his latest short film. In it he narrates the social pressure that women experience with respect to physique and beauty.
