A Lake

Rich is a 30 year-old filmmaker whose career seems to go nowhere. While wasting his days in Tequesquitengo, he falls in love with Daniela, a young woman who shares his place in the world, but not the same feelings. A weekend with her and her young, polyamorous friends will make him question his life so far and his concept of love.

Rafael Martínez Sánchez is a Mexican film director, writer and actor. He majored in communications at Universidad Intercontinental. His short films, also written, produced and edited by him, have been selected for festivals like Shorts Mexico, Macabro, Shanghai Queer Film Festival, Tequila International Film Festival and the New Delhi International Film Festival. As an actor, he has starred in more than 20 short films and in two feature films as the leading character. His first feature film as a director: “A Lake”, is an Estacato, Benuca Films and Sopa de Piedra coproduction.
