A Is for Arak

A short yet sweet film about booze in Lebanon. From Beirut to the Bekaa Valley, exploring the history, distillation and appeal of the grandfather of all spirits - Arak.

Oliver is a British designer, animator and director. Since 2012 he has been bringing ideas to life for films, television, news and commercial projects for the likes of Netflix, HBO, BBC, Sky, Passion Pictures, ITV, Nike, National Geographic, Discovery and Channel 4. Projects include designing the BAFTA nominated title sequence for the 2018 feature film 'Take Your Pills' along with 2017 Obama biopic 'The Final Year'. In 2019 he directed, produced, edited and animated 'A is for Arak', his first live-action short, filmed in Lebanon.
