Miguel Ángel Carmona
Ivan, exultant, is going to visit his girlfriend to ask her to marry him, but a serie of unfortunate coincidences make you will enter in a loop of catastrophic events that seem to be endless.
Miguel A. Carmona was born in Seville, Spain (1983). He made his first short, Dorso, at the age of 18. Filmfed with a home--made camera and featuring a friend in the lead role, the film won the Audience’s Award at Notodofilmfest 2003. In 2005, Alvaro Begines asked him to write the screenplay for what was to be his first film ¿Por que se frotan las patitas? (Scandalous). Then Miguel Angel made two short films: Horoscopo (Horoscope) and 70m2 (honorable mention at LALIFF 2011) won more than 40 awards at Spanish and International film festivals. Currently, he’s just finished his second feature as a screenwriter called Un Mundo Cuadrado (A Squared World), while his new short film Underground on more than 30 awards at festivals around the world.
