Director
After around twenty short films and two feature films as director of photography, he earned an award for one, The Golden Gag, which won the Golden Aphrodite Award at the 2010 International Festival of Cyprus. That same year he decided to make a shift his career toward directing. After training to become a screenwriter under the likes of Michel Gaztambide (winner of the 2012 Goya for No Rest for the Wicked), he made his start with Anita, a new film adventure worlds apart from conventional commercial film, one in which he takes a personal and risky approach in his exploration of silences and atmosphere.
He is currently wrapping up the filming of Sometimes, the most recent music video for the award-winning indie band Polock. He was the director of photography on the soon to be released the feature film Enxaneta (by Alfonso Amador) and is finishing up pre-production in Paris on Le Dragon et le Phoenix, a promising project by the winner of the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Caroline Chu-Vandevelde.
