My Holocaust, Philomena Franz

Philomena Franz, a Sinti woman survivor of the Nazi Holocaust, recalls life before the National Socialist regime, her passage through several concentration camps (especially Auschwitz-Birkenau), her courageous escape and life as a survivor, from the fight for the recognition of the genocide of the Roma people.

David Navarro began his career in the film industry holding positions of a marked technical nature (production, camera, editing, post-production...) in national productions for film, television, and advertising. Thanks to this extensive technical background, he made his first project as a director, with the documentary on the figure of Philomena Franz.
