Director's Bio and Filmography
David Planell Spain Director, Screenwriter

He was trained for fifteen years writing television scripts, Planell started directing in 2003 with the award winning short film Carisma which was nominated for the best short film Goya awards. Five years later he made his first feature film La vergüenza, (Shame) which he was nominated as Best New Director. His style is hard and direct, and his plots are rough, contrasting with the tenderness with which he treats his characters, overwhelmingly urban by unfavorable reality trying (not always successfully) to control at any cost.
