Javier Ara was born in Madrid (Spain) in 1976. Twenty years after he entered into the Academy of Animation Animart, where he completed three years of training. In this period he gained experience doing odd jobs as an inbetweener and animator. In summer 1999, he worked for the studio Animatoons doing layouts and animation in the film Time Gate.
In 2002, now finished the film, he centered in the sector of publicity and television working with different Spanish advertising and television agencies.
In 2008 he began working on the French studio Ankama as an animator for the series Wakfu. He is presently working on this job.
