He began his career as a filmmaker in the world of documentary, making numerous works for television. He later became a Content Assessor and analyst of children’s programs for TVE. He combined these jobs with the directing of short films: Siempre quise trabajar en una fábrica, Amar, Fin and Lala, nominated Best Short Film at the 2010 Goyas and Nadie tiene la culpa (Jury Prize at the Montreal International Festival, 2011). His last short film Aquel no era yo has won more than 56 International Awards including Best Short Film Goya Awards 2013 and the Academy nomination for the Oscar for the Best Live Action Short Film.
